Description
a cathedral entirely modelled within "Bryce". Though Bryce normally is considered as silly toy, it still is my favourite 3D tool. Because it's versatile and intuitive and even detailed modelling is possible. This model took 1 day (incl. building grayscale maps for modelling)

it would have looked a lot better
and anyway, gfx doesnt really agree to bryce renderings, it kinda limitates the ammount of work and just does it for you
but eh...who am i to tell

I've cropped the top of this rendering to show more of the detail of the cathedral. Even though it's a virtual cathedral, it's huge
I have several renderings where you can see the whole building but you just won't see a lot of detail. And regarding to the attitude against Bryce: I work with Bryce since version 1 and have managed to make more detailed images than many people who use the so called high-end software. But of course you have to know how to work with it. Just have a look at the DAZ site and their Bryce gallery, where you can see what talented people can do with Bryce.
It's a very powerful software but - of course - lightwave, maya etc. cost a lot more, so they MUST be better

bg seems off though (either i'd make it more linear by changing the colors in order to get a darker and therefore more fitting atmosphere, or (imo more interesting) push the mood you created with the bg and create more tension.
&i think if everybody says bryce is wack, then it's just about time to show that rules and especially
SIMPLE SOLGANS DO NOT WORK!!
